Make a Snowman Card

Design a cute snowman card to send to family and friends this holiday.

Snowman Card Materials: Red patterned paper Mixed-font rub-on letters Card stock: light blue, white, orange Adhesive dots or double-sided adhesive tape Black marking pen Embroidery needle and white embroidery floss Assorted blue buttons Ribbon Silver tree brad Snowman Card Directions: 1. On the patterned paper, spell out a holiday greeting using rub-on letters. Attach the patterned paper to a light blue card stock base with adhesive dots. 2. Download the snowman pattern here. Cut out the shape from white card stock. Also cut out an orange nose. Tape the nose to the face, and add eyes using the pen. 3. For sewing ease, temporarily place the buttons, one at a time, on the snowman, and then push the embroidery needle through the buttonholes and the snowman. Thread the needle with embroidery floss and sew the buttons down the front of the snowman, sewing through the holes and knotting the threads on the back. 4. Wrap ribbon around the snowman’s neck for a scarf. Push the tree brad through the knot. Adhere the snowman to the card.
